Amy LaViers guides an audience member through a breathing exercise to calibrate and activate the wall-mounted, breath-triggered robotic wings. Performer Cheyanne Teka of Footnote New Zealand Dance looks on, wearing another pair of breath-activated robotic wings. The space, a shipping container, is lit in purple light and jagged shadows are cast by the harsh lines of the two robots. The performer, audience member, and guide face the wall, focusing on the wall mounted wings. Photo by Colin Edson.
